Topsoil and Sand for Building and Nourishing Lawns
Our topsoils have been used locally by homeowners, gardeners, and landscape supply companies. We offer a variety of standard mixes and can also blend custom soil mixes for high-volume orders.
Mounding and Building Yards
Our Basic Topsoil is an inexpensive way to mound and build up areas. It is a screened sandy loam that meets the WSDOT Type A material specification.
Growing Grass
3-Way Topsoil is a more nutrient-rich option for the topmost layer of lawns. 3-Way Topsoil is a blend of ⅔ Basic Topsoil and ⅓ compost. This product has been used to grow new lawns by commercial developers. The City of Tacoma uses our topsoil to restore yards affected by the ASARCO smelter plume.
Getting a Clubhouse-Grade Lawn
Homeowners looking for a clubhouse-grade lawn can distribute Top Dressing Sand on their lawns after aerating. A coarser sand may be necessary depending on your lawn’s soil composition.
