Product Description
Our basic topsoil is Screened Sandy Loam, a naturally occurring blend of loam and sand. Material 3/8″ in diameter and larger is screened out.
Screened Sandy Loam meets the WSDOT Topsoil Type A specification.
Product Applications
Screened Sandy Loam is typically used to mound and build up lawns and gardens. Its sand composition makes it well-draining.
Helpful Tips
Unscreened Sandy Loam (1051-3) can be used to fill ditches more inexpensively.

About Basic Topsoil
Screened Sandy Loam is a naturally occurring soil. It’s the top layer of earth removed during the mining process. This material is screened to create our basic topsoil product. All of our topsoil blends are created by adding varying percentages of compost to our Screened Sandy Loam.

Prices quoted are for material delivery only. Drivers do their best to dump material evenly when requested. However, Washington Rock cannot guarantee that this will result in an even or desirable distribution of material. Customers must supply the equipment and labor necessary to finish projects.
