The Gig Harbor Demonstration Garden at Sehmel Homestead Park offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about gardening. Volunteers help care for the garden and grow produce for local food banks. They also assist visitors with gardening questions.

Highlights

Washington Rock Quarries provided 5/8" Minus for the base of a renewed gravel walkway. ¼” Minus Trail Gravel was used on the surface. The new trail offers a sturdy and accessible pathway for all visitors, including those using walkers, strollers, wheelchairs, and even wheelbarrows.
