Fountain grass in the foreground contrasts with other grasses and streambed boulders in the background. The plantings are contained within a planter next to a road. A planter next to a sidewalk showcases coreopsis flowers growing around streambed boulders. The planter contains other plants like fountain grass and daylilies. A motorcycle is visible in the corner shop nearby, and the word A line of five boulders is surrounded by orange sedge grass, coreopsis, French lavender, daylilies, and other grasses. A 1950s-style building can be seen in the bakground with antique gas pumps.

Highlights

Our Quality Control Lab manager hosted representatives from contracting agency KPG Psomas, landscaper Castaneda Landscaping, and the Lee Arts Foundation at our Kapowsin Quarry location. The group handpicked 70 boulders that would be used in the plantings alongside the street. Our boulders are a small part of the overall project, but we're proud that they will become part of the main street landscape.
