Description

Lakewold Gardens is a historic estate garden in Lakewood, Washington. Over the years, thousands of visitors have walked the gravel paths throughout the estate. The well-worn ruts and pathway material—a kind of pea gravel mix—made access difficult for visitors with physical limitations. Washington Rock Quarries stepped in to provide our ¼” Minus Trail Gravel for the rejuvenation of the garden paths.

Materials

115 tons of ¼” Minus Trail Gravel

Highlights

Washington Rock's ¼” Minus Trail Gravel helped to not only add aesthetic interest to the gardens but also created greater accessibility for users of wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers.
