The Seattle Times published an article about the groundbreaking and the Bellevue Reporter covered the grand opening. The City of Bellevue and IMCO (the general contractor) each made videos about the park.

Materials

400 Tons of Coarse Sand
65 Tons of One-Man Streambed Boulders

Highlights

Washington Rock's coarse sand is featured on the swimming beach, which is one of the park's main attractions. The swimming beach was relocated from its previous location and expanded. Our One-Man Streambed Boulders line the natural ravine on the northwest side of the park.

Our coarse sand is perfect for customers who want to build a Pacific Northwest-style beach. Consider our clean Greens Top Dressing Sand for sandboxes or volleyball courts or Ultrafine Sand for swimming pools.
