Product Description
Ultrafine Sand is a blend of very fine sand and approximately 15%–30% silt.
Ultrafine Sand is shipped with optimal moisture content so that it can be sculpted on the job site. For applications like beach volleyball, the sand should be dampened to weigh down the silt.
Product Applications
Ultrafine Sand can be used as a beach sand or as a sand base for swimming pools, both above ground and in ground. When damp, it can also be used as a beach volleyball sand or as a sculptable sand for sandboxes.
Helpful Tips
Our sand is a gray-brown color. We don’t sell white or black sand.
About Ultrafine Sand
Our Ultrafine Sand is a byproduct of our Ultra-Fines Recovery (UFR) system. After sand products go through a wash cycle, the UFR system separates water from solids. A second wash cycle cleans products even further and leaves behind two byproducts: Ultrafine Sand and Pond Liner.

Prices quoted are for material delivery only. Drivers do their best to dump material evenly when requested. However, Washington Rock cannot guarantee that this will result in an even or desirable distribution of material. Customers must supply the equipment and labor necessary to finish projects.
