Product Description
1½” Concrete Aggregates are washed, coarse, round rocks measuring up to 1½” in diameter. They are primarily used in ready-mix concrete.

1½” Concrete Aggregates meet the ASTM #57 specification:

• 100% passing the 1½” screen
• 95–100% passing the 1″ screen
• 25–60% passing the ½” screen
• 0–10% passing the #8 screen

Product Applications
1½” Concrete Aggregates are typically incorporated into concrete aggregate mixes.

Helpful Tips
Compared to our 1½” Drain Rock, our mix of 1½” Concrete Aggregates has a smaller maximum rock size. 1½” Drain Rock is more of a “true” 1½” rock mix, in that the top size is 1½” in diameter.

Note that 5700-3 (1½” Concrete Aggregates) is not the same product as 5700-1 (¾” Ballast), which is a fractured quarry rock. Both products meet the AASHTO #57 and ASTM #57 specifications for coarse concrete aggregates but differ in their material source and physical appearance.

¾” Concrete Mix is a pre-mixed blend of sand and round rock up to ¾” in diameter.

¾” Concrete Mix is a 1:1 blend of round rock and a coarse sand like WSDOT Class 2 Sand (1032-3).

Product Applications
¾” Concrete Mix is typically mixed with cement additives to create concrete. Sometimes ¾” Concrete Mix is also used on its own as a pipe bedding material.
