Washington Rock Quarries is pleased to announce our 2026 scholarship winners, Orting High School seniors Noah-Lee Morgan and Carmela Diazleal-Montero.
The $1,000 scholarships were awarded at the Orting High School Senior Scholarships & Honors Ceremony on June 3, 2026, and included framed certificates, Washington Rock-branded swag, and goodies.
The Wilson, Chism, & Foster Memorial Scholarships are awarded to Orting High School seniors who plan to attend technical school.
The scholarships honor the memory of team members J. R. Wilson, Steve A. Chism, and Randy C. Foster. These three individuals helped build Washington Rock Quarries into a thriving company that delivers mined rock, sand, and soil products to critical infrastructure projects in the Puget Sound region and throughout the U.S.
Congratulations, Noah-Lee and Carmela!
