Description

The North Mercer Island/Enatai Sewer Upgrade is a King County project that replaces a sewer pipeline that extends from North Mercer Island, an area near Enatai Beach Park in Bellevue, and the Town of Beaux Arts Village just north of the park. The job requires in-water work to replace streambed sediment around the pipe.

Materials

800 tons of Streambed Sediment

Highlights

Washington Rock Quarries shipped approximately 27 truck-and-trailer loads of material to Walrath Marine's shipping facility in Tacoma, WA. The material was loaded onto the Everett, an American Construction Company barge. For this phase of the project, the streambed sediment was placed under the Bellevue side of I-90.
