National Miners Day is the time to celebrate our achievements as a team.
Projects
Our projects ranged from smaller local jobs like the new UW student residences to iconic ones like the Sound Transit link light rail connection in Tacoma.
While most of our projects are based in the Puget Sound region, Armorstone® has traveled as far as Virginia and Pennsylvania—nearly 3,000 miles away. Our infill sand made it as far as Utah this year.
New Media Content
We add new online content every month. This year, we premiered two videos, one about our quality control program and another featuring our Armorstone® work in Utah.
Events
We continued our annual tradition of hosting a display at the Spring Fair in April and a booth at Dozer Day in July. In a twist, we created a large indoor sandbox at the Spring Fair this year. The sandbox was such a hit that KING 5 News in Seattle featured it in their morning segment.
We had our sandbox table at Dozer Day again this year, complete with a banner and T-shirts featuring our mascot, the Rock.
Since last year, we’ve added over a dozen new employees. We’re currently building new offices for the mechanics as part of a multi-year expansion. The new year will bring many more opportunities to grow as a team and as a company.
Happy National Miners Day!
